What is water to a swimmer? How can movement be seen through water? #1-4 The swimmer is diving off of the blocks. This is the beginning of the race and when the swimmer first touches the water. #5. The swimmer takes their first breath when he emerges from the water. #6-7 The swimmers see the calmness of the water before the race. They visualize the water moving around them and how they are to swim their race. #8 The items needed for the race. The warm-up suit, the race suit, and the cap and goggles. #9 Once the race is over the swimmer takes off their caps and goggles as they float in the water on the edge of the pool. #10 As the swimmer swims freestyle the water is moving around him and moving him forward. #11 the swimming slowly swims through the water as he warms down after the hard and demanding race he just swam. #12 Once the swimmer has finished their race they go and discuss and break it down with their coach. #13-15 Water flows and moves in many different ways and forms. This shows the movement of water and how spectacular it is. But what is water to a swimmer? A swimmer must stay streamlined when moving through the water in which they become a spectacular form of movement.
