How is gentrification prevalent in Houston today, and how can it be expressed?1 seeing the difference between the homes that have made the fifth ward what it is today and the invading homes.2 shows how the issue can be expressed through art and how viewers are able to see and understand the idea without needing an explanation.3 economic differences are expressed in a way where the viewer can see two homes from different economic standpoints and the homes that created the culture are clear.4 show the area of these homes which is the most important aspect because the culture that is being pushed out of their homes have nowhere to go that will feel like home again.5 show new development that will one day in the near future take over the culture of Houston and what has made Houston the city it is today.6 is the most powerful, people leaving by choice. People have become so uncomfortable and disturbed by what is going on around them and seeing their childhood being torn down they leave in grief.7 Show a process almost like a life cycle of culture. Homes that have been there for years and created community and family are torn down.8 -15 bring awareness to those who care for the community
